Career Profile
Hi, I'm a software engineer from Berlin, Germany, iOS Enthusiast and Fanboy with a passion for user experience design and high quality. Beginning in 2010 I started developing software for iOS with some smaller research projects for my university. In my final diploma thesis I developed my first universal iOS app controlling a home automation and smart energy based wireless sensor network.
Later on I joined Onefootball, the world´s leading mobile football platform, where I was working from Apr 2013 till Feb 2017. At Onefootball I was responsible for building and maintaining different iOS apps, including Apple Watch and iMessage support.
Experiences
At Onefootball I was mainly responsible for autonomous development, maintenance as well as evolution of native iOS applications (Swift and Objective-C) using modern development practices like test automation and continuous integration. Working in a platform specific development team, we collaborated agile, structured and effective in accordance with common workflows of distributed version control systems.
Additionally, as technical project contributor, I was responsible for implementing new features into the product portfolio. This included a close cooperation with our backend and design team to define API´s and implement design guidelines for pixel-perfect frontend creation.
